Following a pretty triumphant run across the continent in August that saw him sell out almost every show of a near month-long run, Ernest Greene is bringing Washed Out back to Europe this November. The run starts at the inaugural Pitchfork Paris event on the 27th and culminates with the band’s biggest European show to date at London’s 1K + capacity Heaven on the 15th of November.
The shows are in support of a new single – the ebullient “Amor Fati”, a joyful, grand moment of celebration in the sublimely elegant and nuanced ‘Within and Without’ and possibly Ernest’s most fully-realised POP moment to date. The single is out on November 7th on limited edition 12″ and download and features remixes from Clams Casino and Au Revoir Simone as well as an unheard Washed Out song from the ‘Within and Without’ recording sessions – “Call It Off.”
