With The Hum getting louder and the release of Hookworms’ second album only a few weeks away November 10th to be precise – the strongly independent group have decided to share their latest track via the websites of some of the world’s  finest independent record  shops; full list below. Naturally the band would encourage fans to use their local retailer when purchasing their new album, or indeed anyone else’s music.

The track ‘Off Screen’ is a somewhat of a departure from the ferocious energy of The Hum, the sole break in pace among 35 blistering minutes, tidal in the way it rolls over on itself through more than seven emotively fragile minutes. Its stark isolation compared to the rest of the record conversely makes it one of the album’s stand-out tracks.
