Peaking Lights: 936.fm – ON AIR now / Main Attrakionz remix

Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis, AKA Peaking Lights, are to release the deluxe edition of ‘936’, their second album and first for Weird World on November 21st 2011.

Before that though, the band today offer a new window into their unique world – 936.fm. With over ten hours of newly mixed rarities, oddities and lost classics from a truly formidable record collection looping on the site this week, anyone already familiar with the amazingly deep, wide-ranging and well-conceived mixtapes that the couple have sporadically released to date will find much to be excited with in this digital crate-digger’s paradise.  Anyone not yet initiated can expect quite the trip.

Starting today (Monday 14th), a new mix will loop continuously on the site’s custom player every day until Friday when the site will premiere a remix mixtape comprised of brand new versions of ‘936’ tracks by Adrian Sherwood, Main Attrakionz, patten, DaM-FunK, Damu, Cadenza, Sunless ’97, d’Eon, Doldrums Maria Minerva and more.

Here’s a teaser of what to come in the shape of Bay Area rap crew Main Attrakionz’ remix/melding of ‘936’ tracks  “Marshmellow Yellow” and  “Amazing And Wonderful”

DELVE IN!!!
