Peaking Lights – Hey Sparrow video

Here’s the new video for Peaking Lights’ ‘Hey Sparrow’ – one of the many highlights of the duo’s much acclaimed second album “936” (out now through Weird World.) Made by emerging film-maker and cult music video director Cam Archer (Xiu Xiu, Julianna Barwick, Sabareth Tucek) the Malick-esque video follows a young girl wandering lonely around a beautiful, isolated backyard setting – perfectly nailing the sweet/disquieting paradox which the song itself evokes in the process.

Both London shows next month (Plastic People, December 6th and Rhythm Factory, December 8th) are now sold out.  Fear not though as the band play the following additional UK dates:

December 7th – Phonica Records (Instore DJ SET)
December 9th – Rough Trade East (Instore)
December 10th – Piccadilly Records (Daytime Instore DJ SET)
December 10th – Deaf Institute, Manchester

Also just a reminder that the 936 remixes are still spinning at  936.fm now! Those that want a physical copy of the non EP ones (feat. Maria Minerva, d’Eon, Cadenza, Damu, Doldrums and Sunless ’97) can snag a copy by ordering ‘936’ from our friends at Piccadilly Records – where it is their ALBUM OF THE YEAR – now.
