Melody’s Echo Chamber announces new single; shares new song

Melody’s Echo Chamber has announced the release of ‘Crystallized’ – the next single to be taken from Parisian Melody Prochet’s eponymous debut album, released late last year to great excitement by us right here at Weird World. Recorded with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker in Perth in the Summer of 2012, ‘Crystallized’ is one of the numerous highlights of that record – a frenetic, scorched pop song that vividly demonstrates Prochet’s talent for blurring the lines between her classically trained ear for melody and penchant for experimental sonics.
The digital single, released March 18th, will come backed with an unreleased gem in the form of ‘Je Me Perds de Vue’ – a track that originally appeared reversed and warped on Prochet’s debut as the spiraling and transportive instrumental ‘IsThatWhatYouSaid.’  Now restored to its former glory, ‘Je Me Perds de Vue’ reveals itself as another romantic, celestial ear-worm in the Melody’s Echo Chamber arsenal to rival ‘Crystallized’ itself or former single ‘I Follow You‘.

Melody and band embark on a headline tour in their native France this month, followed by a visit to the UK for a string of dates – including London’s Scala – in March.
